Hey Y’all welcome to my blog!

 My name is Carmen Vigil and I was born and raised in the gorgeous state of Colorado!! I am the oldest of 4 kids (by 6 years)… My family is super awesome. Like I could write an entire book on why my family is the best. I am probably biased however. Anyways, my heart beat is for the children of this world and I have watched the Lord seriously change that and mold it in to His plan over the last 6 years. In September of 2014 I launched with Gap A on to the World Race: Gap Year. The World Race: Gap Year was a nine month mission trip where we traveled to three different countries (Guatemala, Thailand and Zambia). My world was completely turned around after my travels and the Lord kept working His plan. Which has ultimately lead me here… 2 weeks before I begin my drive to Gainesville, GA. This September I will be attending the Center for Global Action (CGA). Right now I feel the Lord calling me to long-term international missions with the end result being to open up an orphanage. I should use the term orphanage lightly because it won’t be like most orphanages but rather it’ll just be family. A family of different blood. One with different moms and dads, all being loved on by our family. I’m excited for what the Lord continues to show me during the next at months and I would love for you to join the journey!!!
